Aelfsige of Halton (born 1 August 738) was a cardinal.
Biography[]
Aelfsige was born on 1 August 738 to a family of Catholic Anglo-Saxons, and he became the Bishop of Halton. Later, he gained a seat on the College of Cardinals on 18 March 798.
