Adriana Salvatierra (born 3 June 1989) was President of the Senate of Bolivia from 18 January to 10 November 2019, succeeding Milton Baron. She was a member of MAS-IPSP.
Biography[]
Adriana Salvatierra Arriaza was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia on 3 June 1989, and she joined Evo Morales' MAS-IPSP party at the age of 16 in 2005. In 2014, her party's youth organization elected her as a Senator due to her professionalism and her grassroots activism, and she became President of the Senate in 2019. Following the 2019 Bolivian coup d'etat of 10 November 2019, Salvatierra resigned in protest.
