
Adriana Munoz Blanca (born 25 September 1948) was a Chilean PPD deputy from 1990 to 1994 and from 1998 to 2014 and a Senator from 2014.
Biography[]
Adriana Munoz Blanca was born in Santiago, Chile in 1948, and she joined the Socialist Party of Chile in 1967 and went into exile in Austria following the 1973 Chilean coup d'etat, returning to Chile in 1982. In 1986, she joined the Socialist Party's political commission, only to take part in the formation of the Party for Democracy in 1987. Munoz served in the Chamber of Deputies from 1990 to 1994 and from 1998 to 2014, as President of the Chamber of Deputies from 2002 to 2003, as President of the PPD from 2009 to 2010, in the Senate for Coquimbo from 2014, and President of the Senate from March 2020.
