Adrian Bailey

Adrian Bailey (born 11 December 1945) was the Labour Party MP for West Bromwich West from 23 November 2000 to 6 November 2019, succeeding Betty Boothroyd and preceding Shaun Bailey.

Biography[]

Adrian Bailey was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England on 11 December 1945, and he worked as a librarian before entering politics with the Labour Party. He was elected to the Sandwell Borough Council in 1991, and he went on to serve in Parliament from 2000 to 2019 as the Labour MP for West Bromwich West. He stepped down in 2019, and his seat flipped in a blue wave.
