Adoniram J. Warner

Adoniram Judson Warner (13 January 1834-12 August 1910) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-OH 13) from 4 March 1879 to 3 March 1881 (succeeding Milton I. Southard and preceding Gibson Atherton), from OH-15 from 4 March 1883 to 3 March 1885 (succeeding Rufus Dawes and preceding Beriah Wilkins), and from OH-17 from 4 March 1885 to 3 March 1887 (interrupting Joseph D. Taylor's terms).

Biography[]

Adoniram Judson Warner was born in Wales, New York in 1834, and he was raised in Beloit, Wisconsin. He became a school superintendent in Lewistown, Pennsylvania before serving in the 10th Pennsylvania Reserve Regiment during the American Civil War. After the war, he became a lawyer and businessman in Marietta, Ohio, and he served in the US House of Representatives from 1879 to 1881 and from 1883 to 1887. He died in 1910.
