Adolfo Sarsani (1885 - 1930) was an Italian blackshirt and colonel in Libya.
Biography[]
Sarsani was born In Italy in 1885. He joined the army in 1905 and fought against the Austrians at the Alps during World War I. In 1929, Sarsani was a colonel under the orders of Rodolfo Graziani, Sarsani committed atrocities such as arson and rape against Libyan natives. In 1930, during a battle against native partisans, Sarsani's men killed a group of them. He went there to see if it was any survivors to shot them in the head, but one of them stood up and stabbed him with his knife, killing him. His soldiers then shot the killer.
