
Adolf von Waldeck und Pyrmont (18 November 1838 - 24 April 1896) was a German General der Infanterie in the Imperial German Army during the late 19th century. He had a reputation for being an aggressive commander and rose through the ranks at a young age. He commanded the I Corps during the War of the Guangdong Concession, the German Empire's conflict with China over the Guangdong province. After that, von Waldeck und Pyrmont commanded the I China Corps, which was the reorganized I Corps stationed in German East Asia.
