Adolf Hitler Uunona (1965-) was a Namibian SWAPO politician who served as a councilor for Ompundja from 2004. He served in the People's Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN) during the anti-apartheid struggle against South Africa in the 1980s before entering politics. He attracted international media attention due to his unusual name, as he was named for the Nazi German leader Adolf Hitler, as were many other African children whose parents were aware of Hitler's power in Europe yet were unaware of the name's negative connotations.
