Adney Marshall (834-) was a West Saxon woman who lived in Winchester, Hampshire during the late 9th century AD. She was married to Hubert, and she was rumored to be a promiscuous and unfaithful wife. In 877, she and her husband were arrested on the orders of Reeve Selwyn after Hubert was accused of speaking false of Bishop Ealhferth, and they were brought to the Shieldmaker's Yard to be executed. After an exchange of insults between himself and Adney, Selwyn beheaded Hubert, but Eivor Wolf-Kissed jumped down and assassinated Selwyn before he could execute Adney as well.
