
Adnan al-Gashey (1946-1978) was a member of the Black September Organization.
Biography[]
Adnan al-Gashey was brought up in conditions of great poverty with his brother Jamal al-Gashey in Palestine, and he joined the Palestine Liberation Organization with his brother. In 1972, he took part in the Munich Massacre, during which he machine-gunned the Israeli hostages in the western helicopter after Luttif Afif killed the other hostages. Adnan escaped without injury, and later went into hiding with his brother. He died of heart failure in Dubai in 1978.
