
Adam Sandler (born 9 September 1966) was an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, film producer, and musician. Sandler was known for his harshly-criticized movies, and he was also known to be a Republican Party donor.

Adam Sandler was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York in 1966 to a Jewish family, and he grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire. He graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts in 1988, and he was a Saturday Night Live cast member before going on to become a Hollywood actor. Sandler appeared in many high-grossing movies, but many of his movies were harshly criticized, including the disastrous Jack and Jill. Sandler was a registered Republican, and he donated $2,100 to Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign in 2007.
