
Adam Ludwig Lewenhaupt (15 April 1659-12 February 1719) was a general of Sweden.
Biography[]
In the 1680s Lewenhaupt served in the Holy Roman Empire's army and fought in the Great Turkish War before returning to Sweden in 1697. Lewenhaupt returned in time for the Great Northern War, and he won at Gemauerthof against the Russians. However, he was captured in the Battle of Poltava and died in Moscow, still a prisoner.
