Adam

Adam (4004 BC-3074 BC) was the first man created by God in the Abrahamic faiths. He was created in approximately 4004 BC, and he was made to till and keep the Garden of Eden; God created several trees and animals to keep Adam fed. When Adam could not carry out all of the work by himself, God created Eve from Adam's rib, and they lived naked and unashamed. However, Eve was tempted by a serpent, who told her to eat from the forbidden Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and Eve shared the fruit with Adam. They became aware of their nudity, and hid from God when he came to find them. When Adam explained that they were hiding because they were nude, God deduced that they had eaten from the tree, and he punished Adam with mortality and Eve with having to bear the pain of childbirth. They were banished from the Garden of Eden, with the forbidden tree being guarded by a flaming swod. Adam and Eve proceeded to conceive three children: Cain, Abel, and Seth, with Cain later murdering Abel before being banished. Adam was said to have sired 40,000 children, and to have died at the age of 930.
