Adalfredo Bucciero

Adalfredo Bucciero (died 1919) was an Italian immigrant restaurateur in Birmingham, England during the early 20th century. The brother of Gomberto and Romualdo, he opened a bistro in the Small Heath neighborhood, and the three of them had criminal ties. In 1919, Bucciero drew a knife on the traumatized World War I veteran Daniel Owen when he refused to leave the premises of his restaurant while having an episode, and Owen mistook the knife for a German bayonet, causing him to charge Bucciero and stab him in the heart with his knife. His brothers later ordered Peaky Blinders boss Tommy Shelby to kill him in front of them, and Shelby faked Owen's death and sent him to London.
