Abyad Kanan (1163-1236) was an Islamic scholar.
Biography[]
Abyad Kanan was born in 1163 to a Sunni Muslim Syrian family. Kanan travelled through the Levant during his Islamic studies, and was hosted in the city of Damascus in 1191 with fellow scholar Razeen Hana.
