Abu al-Baraa el-Azdi (), also known as Mohammed Abdullah, was a Yemeni militant who was the Emir of Wilayat Barqa for the Islamic State.
Biography[]
Abu al-Baraa el-Azdi was originally a preacher from Yemen, but he later became a fighter of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), and in November 2014 he was appointed the Emir of Wilayat Barqa in Derna, Libya for the Islamic State by Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He became the city's top religious judge, and governed Libya.
