Abu Obaida

Abu Obaida (born 11 February 1985), born Huzaifa Samir Abdullah al-Kahloot, was a Palestinian terrorist and the spokesman for Hamas' armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades. He announced the 2006 capture of Gilad Shalit, called for revenge against Israel's plans to annex parts of the West Bank in 2020, and issued several other calls for violence against Israeli population centers. During the Israel-Hamas War, he claimed that 85% of Qassam Brigades fighters were orphans seeking vengeance against Israel for the deaths of their parents.
