Abu Mustafa al-Ansari (died 18 January 2008) was a leader of the Soldiers of Heaven Shi'ite doomsday cult during the Iraq War. He was killed on the 2008 Day of Ashura.

Abu Mustafa al-Ansari was the military commander of the Soldiers of Heaven Shia doomsday cult that took part in the fighting in the city of Basra during the Iraq War, and he became the leader of the cult in the city. Along with two gunmen and two police officers, al-Ansari was gunned down during the 2008 Day of Ashura battle between Iraq and the Soldiers of Heaven.
