Abu Khattab al-Ansari

Abu Khattab al-Ansari (2003-7 July 2015), born Fares al-Khodour, was a child member of the Islamic State terrorist group during the Syrian Civil War.

Biography[]

Fares al-Khodour was born in 2003 in Syria, and his family fled to Beirut, Lebanon during the Syrian Civil War. al-Khodour sold flowers, and his family later returned to Syria in July 2015. al-Hadath claimd that he had joined the Islamic State and took on the nom de guerre of "Abu Khattab al-Ansari", and he carried out a suicide attack against YPG forces in Raqqa on 7 July 2015.
