Abu Hamdi al-Urduni (27 July 1982 – 25 January 2016) was a Jordanian member of the Islamic State.
Biography[]
Malik Ibrahim was born on 27 July 1982 in Amman, Jordan to a family of Sunni Muslim Arabs. He worked as an optometrist for several years, but in 2012 he decided to leave his job to fight for jihad alongside the Islamic State in Syria. Ibrahim took on the nom de guerre "Abu Hamdi al-Urduni" and fought on the front lines against the Syrian Arab Army and Free Syrian Army. On 25 January 2016, Abu Hamza al-Urduni was killed in the fighting for southern Aleppo.
