Abu Bakr Baira

Abu Bakr Baira was the President of the Council of Deputies of Libya from 4 to 5 August 2014, succeeding Nouri Abusahmain and preceeding Aguila Saleh Issa.

Biography[]

Abu Bakr Baira was a Sunni Muslim and was the oldest member of Libya's legislature at the time of his being appointed to be the independent President of the Council of Deputies on 4 August 2014. His tenure lasted one day, and he was succeeded by Aguila Saleh Issa, who topped his age.
