Abu Arif al-Britani (7 August 1992 – 21 November 2015) was a fighter of the Islamic State from the United Kingdom.
Biography[]
Saad Abdulla was born on 7 August 1992 in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, in the United Kingdom to a family of Muslim immigrants from Pakistan. He worked at a supermarket in his teens, and he dropped out of secondary school and got involved with alcohol and drugs. Later, he decided to revive his faith to end his life of vice, and he became a radical. Taking on the nickname "Abu Arif al-Britani", he set out for Turkey, joining the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the Syrian Civil War. On 21 November 2015 he was killed in an airstrike by the Operation Inherent Resolve coalition.
