Abram Y. Nechayev

Abram Yaroslavovich Nechayev (1983-2008) was a Russian mobster who was affiliated with the Faustin crime family in New York City during the 2000s.

In 2008, he and several other Russian mobsters were ambushed and killed by The Lost MC while congregating at a Battery Park, Manhattan construction site.

Background[]

Early Life[]

Abram was born in Novosibirsk, USSR, in 1983. His father was a mechanic, and his mother worked as a schoolteacher. Abram had a quiet but troubled childhood, often skipping school and getting into fights. In the late 1990s, his family emigrated to the United States and settled in Brooklyn, New York.

Struggling to adjust to American life, Abram fell in with Russian street crews by his late teens.

Life in America[]

By the early 2000s, Abram was doing low-level work for the Faustin crime family—running errands, collecting debts, and assisting in drug deliveries. His youth and loyalty earned him a reputation as a reliable foot soldier. Though not high-ranking, he was often present at mob gatherings and acted as muscle for more senior members.

He was known for keeping quiet, following orders, and trying to move up within the organization.

Death[]

In 2008, Abram and several other Faustin-affiliated mobsters gathered at a construction site near Battery Park, Manhattan, for an undisclosed meeting. The gathering was ambushed by members of The Lost MC, leading to a violent shootout. Abram was killed on the spot, caught in the gunfire and unable to escape. He was 25 years old.
