
Abram Marshall Scott (13 March 1785-12 June 1833) was the National Republican Governor of Mississippi from 9 January 1832 to 12 June 1833, succeeding Gerard Brandon and preceding Charles Lynch.
Biography[]
Abram Marshall Scott was born in Edgefield, South Carolina in 1785, and he cofounded Woodville, Mississippi Territory and served in the State Senate in 1822 and from 1826 to 1827 and as Governor from 1832 to 1833, when he died of cholera.
