Abraham X. Parker (14 November 1831-9 August 1909) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-NY 19) from 4 March 1881 to 3 March 1885 (succeeding Amaziah B. James and preceding John Swinburne) and from NY-22 from 4 March 1885 to 3 March 1889 (succeeding Charles R. Skinner and preceding Frederick Lansing).
Biography[]
Abraham X. Parker was born in Granville, Vermont in 1831, and he became a lawyer in Buffalo, Syracuse, and Potsdam. He served in the State Assembly from 1863 to 1864, as Postmaster of Potsdam from 1865 to 1866, in the State Senate from 1868 to 1871, and in the US House of Representatives from 1881 to 1889, and he died in 1909.
