Abraham Phineas Grant (5 April 1804-11 December 1871) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NY 17) from 4 March 1837 to 3 March 1839, succeeding Joel Turrill and preceding John G. Floyd.
Biography[]
Abraham Phineas Grant was born in New Lebanon, New York in 1804, and he became a lawyer in Oswego in 1828 and became Oswego County district attorney in 1835. He served in the US House of Representatives from 1837 to 1839, and he died in 1871.
