Abraham Nott (5 February 1768 – 19 June 1830) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-SC 6) from 4 March 1799 to 3 March 1801, succeeding William Smith and preceding Thomas Moore.

Biography[]

Abraham Nott was born in Saybrook, Connecticut in 1768, and he moved to McIntosh County, Georgia in 1788 and then to Camden, South Carolina a year later. He became a lawyer in 1791 and served in the State House from 1796 to 1797 and in the US House of Representatives from 1799 to 1801; in 1824, he became a Court of Appeals judge, serving until his death in 1830.
