Abraham Hamadeh

Abraham Hamadeh (15 May 1991-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-AZ 8) from 3 January 2025, succeeding Debbie Lesko.

Biography[]

Abraham Hamadeh was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of a Syrian Muslim father and a Druze mother. He served in the US Army as an intelligence officer in Saudi Arabia before returning to America in 2021. He later became a prosecutor and mounted a failed bid for Attorney General of Arizona in 2022. However, he was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2024. He strongly supported Israel and the building of a Mexican border wall while opposing the Green New Deal and Marxist and pro-Palestinian activism on college campuses.
