Abner Miller was a member of Anthony Spilotro's Chicago Outfit crew in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1973, he disrespected Tangiers Casino executive Frank Rosenthal by refusing to take his feet off the table, and Rosenthal had him picked up by four policemen, who used his head to ram open the doors as they threw him out. He then headed to Spilotro, who discovered Miller's actions, and Spilotro sharply criticized Miller for his actions; however, he stuck up for him, and he convinced Rosenthal to let him back into his casino if he apologized.
