Abner Franklin Smearl (1872-1898) was an American outlaw who was affiliated with the Louisiana Raiders gang in Louisiana during the late 19th century. In 1898, he and several other Raiders were killed in a shootout with Joe Bedford's hired gun, the Arizona Kid, at the ghost town of Pleasance.
