Abe Cook was an African-American gun dealer who lived on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City during the 1950s. In 1957, he and his associate Rory Harris sold a Colt revolver to the youth gang leader Riff Lorton after he persuaded them of his resolve, even though the gun dealers had misgivings about his inexperience with a gun. That same gun was later used by Chino Martin to shoot Tony Wyzek dead.
