
Abdullah Tabarak Ahmad (born 12 December 1955) was an al-Qaeda member from Morocco.
Biography[]
Abdullah Tabarak Ahmad was born on 12 December 1955 in Casablanca, Morocco. He joined al-Qaeda and became one of Osama bin Laden's bodyguards, and he offered to sacrifice himself by taking Osama's satellite phone during the Battle of Tora Bora so that the United States would track him down and not Osama. On 16 December 2001, Tabarak, Ibrahim al-Qosi, Ali Hamza al-Bahlul, and Mohammed al-Qahtani were arrested, and he was held in Guantanamo Bay until 2004, when he was handed over to Moroccan police detention.
