Abdullah Gulzar Khan

Abdullah Gulzar Khan (died 4 July 2016) was an Islamic State suicide bomber and one of the attackers in the 4 July 2016 Saudi Arabia bombings.

Biography[]

Abdullah Gulzar Khan was born in Pakistan to a Sunni Muslim family, and he worked as an immigrant driver in the Red Sea city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for twelve years. In 2016, however, he decided to join the Islamic State for a suicide bombing mission against the United States consulate in Jeddah, and he was given a VBIED to carry out the task. However, police stopped him in front of the consulate and had him exit his car, and he detonated his suicide belt; two policemen were lightly injured, and his devastating car bomb was never used.
