Abdula Chaarani (born 1990) was an Islamic State sympathizer from Australia.
Biography[]
Abdula Chaarani was born in Dallas, Australia in 1990 to a family of Sunni Muslim immigrants from Lebanon, and he became a member of a cell of Islamic State sympathizers in Melbourne. In 2016, Chaarani, Hamza Abbas, and Ahmed Mohamad planned to carry out bomb attacks across Melbourne, but they were arrested by Australian policemen on 23 December 2016 before they could carry out the attacks.
