Abdul Lateef Ebrahim

Abdul Lateef Ebrahim was an Afghan politician who served as Governor of Helmand Province from 2006, succeeding Arkaan Hanif. Ebrahim was a secularist who believed that religion and politics needed to be separated to unite all people, and he supported pro-ISAF policies on foreign aid, social reform, security, and defense policy, leading to the British forces in Operation Goodvale supporting his campaign against the moderate Hanif and the Islamist Sahl Dallal.
