Abdul Amir (1953-) was an Egyptian-Emirati real estate developer who owned several properties in the Middle East and North America, including Tony Prince's nightclubs.
Biography[]
Abdul Amir was born in Egypt to a conservative Sunni Muslim family, and he became a successful real estate developer. Amir had a son, Yusuf Amir, in 1977, and Yusuf was raised a spoiled child by his father, who gave him a toy train playset made from pure gold. Abdul Amir disapproved of his son's immature behavior, saying that his life of guns, drugs, and hookers was shameful, and Yusuf constantly attempted to impress his father, even going so far as to have his associate Luis Fernando Lopez steal a Buzzard attack chopper for him. In 2008, Abdul Amir and his son both came to New York City for business, and Abdul Amir succeeded in purchasing Tony Prince's nightclubs, franchising them across the United States.
