Abdel Majeed Asslan (1955-22 April 1979) was a Palestine Liberation Front member.
Biography[]
Abdel Majeed Asslan was born in 1955 in Palestine, and he joined Abu Abbas' Palestine Liberation Front (PLF) terrorist group. On 22 April 1979, Asslan, Samir Kuntar, Mhanna Salim al-Muayed, and Ahmed al-Abras entered Israel by boat from Lebanon and killed 4 Israeli civilians. Asslan was shot dead by South African immigrant Charles Shapiro with a .22 caliber Magnum revolver while breaking into his apartment, and Shapiro survived the 1979 Nahaliya attack.
