Abd al-Rahim al-Bisani (1135-25 January 1200), also known as al-Qadi al-Fadil, was the Grand Vizier of the Ayyubid Sultanate under Saladin.
Biography[]
Abd al-Rahim al-Bisani was born in Ascalon, Palestine in 1135, and he later moved to Alexandria and then to Cairo. He became a minister and advisor to Sultan Saladin, and he was known for his eloquence; Imad ad-Din al-Isfahani called him "the lord of the pen". He died in 1200 at the age of 65.
