Abd al-Baqi Abd al-Karim Abdallah

Abd al-Baqi Abd al-Karim Abdallah al-Sadun (1947-14 December 2021) was the Iraqi Regional Branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party's Regional Command Chairman for the Diyala District of Diyala Governorate under Ba'athist Iraq.

Biography[]

Abd al-Baqi Abd al-Karim Abdallah al-Sadun was born in Iraq to a Sunni Muslim Arab family, and he was a member of the Iraqi Regional Branch of the Ba'ath Party. Saddam Hussein appointed him the Regional Command Chairman for the Diyala District in Diyala Governorate under the regime of Ba'athist Iraq, and he was one of the Iraqi officials that the United States sought to capture during the opening stages of the Iraq War in 2003. However, Abdallh was able to escape the American forces and went into hiding. He died in 2021 at the age of 74.
