Abd El Aziz Seif-Eldeen

Abd El Aziz Seif-Eldeen (3 June 1949-) was Commander of the Egyptian Air Defense Forces from 30 October 2005 to 12 August 2012, succeeding Sami Hafez Anan and preceding Abdul Meniem Al-Toras.

Biography[]

Abd El Aziz Seif-Eldeen was born in 1949, and he graduated from the military college in 1970 and served in the War of Attrition and the Yom Kippur War. Seif-Eldeen rose to command the EADF from 2005 to 2012, and he became a member of the SCAF military junta that ruled Egypt following Hosni Mubarak's ouster in 2011.
