Abd-Allah ibn Al-Harith ,is a companion of the Prophet Mohamad, as well as his cousin.
Biography[]
Abd-Al-Shamss ibn Al-Harith, was born in Mecca to Arabia's most famous and influential clan, the Banu Hashim. His father is Harith bin Abd-Al-Mutalib, and his mother and Gazia bint Kaiss from the Banu Fihr clan, his sons are. His uncles are Abu Lahab, Abd-Allah, Al-Zubayr, Al-Abass, Abu Talib, Qoutoum, Abd-Al-Kaaba, Hamza, Dirar, Al-Mouqawim, and his aunts are are Saffiya, Al-Baydae, Arwa, Oumayma, Barra. As for his brothers and sisters: Abou oufyane, Rabi'ah, Nawfal, Al-Mughira, Arwa and Hind. Abd-Al-Shamss grew up and was educated in Mecca.
In 630, Abd-Al Shams, left Mecca, and immigrated to the Prophet Mohammad, as a Muslim. So he called him "Abd-Allah". Later, Abd-Allah fought in some battles alongside the Prophet Mohammad, but died in Al-Safrae. The prophet Mohammad buried him, and he said, "Happy that you have made happiness."
