Aayid el-Matin (died 31 October 2023) was a Syrian Islamic State militant who fought in the Syrian Civil War. In October 2023, he and several other ISIL militants took control of the Mabarak Prison, forcing the Kurdish YPG to deploy special forces to clear the prison of terrorists. He and his comrades were gunned down as the Kurds recaptured the institution.
