Aaron Lyle (17 November 1759-24 September 1825) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-PA 10) from 1809 to 1813 (succeeding William Hoge and preceding Jared Irwin and Isaac Smith) and from PA-12 from 1813 to 1817 (preceding Thomas Patterson).

Biography[]

Aaron Lyle was born in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania in 1759, and he served in the American Revolutionary War and then in the US House of Representatives from 1797 to 1801, in the State Senate from 1802 to 1804, as a Washington County Commissioner from 1806 to 1809, and in the US House of Representatives from 1809 to 1817. He died in 1825.
