
Aaron Harrison Cragin (3 February 1821-10 May 1898) was a member of the US House of Representatives (KN-NH 3) from 4 March 1855 to 3 March 1859 (succeeding Harry Hibbard and preceding Thomas M. Edwards) and a US Senator from 4 March 1865 to 3 March 1877 (succeeding John P. Hale and preceding Edward H. Rollins).
Biography[]
Aaron Harrison Cragin was born in Weston, Vermont in 1821, and he became a lawyer in Lebanon, New Hampshire in 1847. He served in the State House from 1852 to 1855, and he went on to serve as a Know Nothing member of the US House of Representatives from 1855 to 1859 and in the US Senate from 1865 to 1877. He died in Washington DC in 1898.
