Aamir el-Abdi (died 29 October 2023) was a Saudi Islamic State militant who participated in the insurgency against the Iraqi government during the 2020s. On 29 October 2023, he and several other IS insurgents took over the luxurious Almas Hotel and surrounding slums in Baghdad before Iraqi, Kurdish, and American special forces recaptured the insurgent strongpoints and killed their occupants.
