APC

An APC, short for Armored personnel carrier, is an armored fighting vehicle designed to carry soldiers into battle. They are armed for self-defense but, unlike infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), APCs are not meant for direct deployment in battle, instead just transporting soldiers to battle. The M113 APC and BTR are some of the most famous APCs.
