
The AK-63 is an assault rifle developed in Hungary since 1977 as the standard issue weapon of the Hungarian Army since 1986. The AK-63 was exported to other Eastern Bloc allies under the Hungarian People's Republic during the Cold War, and it saw service in the Iran-Iraq War, Nicaraguan Civil War, Salvadoran Civil War, Gulf War, Yugoslav Wars, Afghanistan War, Iraq War, Libyan Civil War, and Syrian Civil War.
