ACT New Zealand is a classical liberal political party in New Zealand that was founded in 1994. The party was founded as the "Association of Consumers and Taxpayers", and it was led by former New Zealand National Party leader Don Brash. The party stood for individual freedom, personal responsibility, environmentalism, and small government, and the party supported the National Party during elections. In 2017, the party held 1/121 House of Representatives seats.
