A.J. Banks (1843-) was an American shopkeeper who founded the Rhodes General Store in Rhodes, Allen Parish, Louisiana in 1870. He operated the general store for over 29 years, but he ultimately retired to head East in search of new opportunities, leaving the store to Simon Pearson.
