A-ReShi (1965-) was a Japanese street performer and break-dance team captain who lived in Osaka during the 1980s. Born Areshi, he became the head of "Team A-ReShi", a team of street performers based in Soemoncho West who aimed to attract the attention of "entertainment bigwigs" with their performance art and become a world-famous phenomenon. On 14 December 1988, A-ReShi offered Goro Majima a place on his team after Majima - inspired by A-ReShi's earlier dance-off with Shiba Yumoto - used break-dance moves to take down three enemies in a fight which A-ReShi had witnessed.
